This tiny terrace occupies only a couple of square meters — to match the same small house. A comfortable seating area consisting of a pair of armchairs was designed on a wooden platform. They are comfortably located in a niche formed by the corner of the building. Nearby are placed and hung plants in pots. Despite the minimum of furniture, it gives the impression of a very secluded and calm space in which you want to linger and relax.

2 Secluded terrace in the thick of the forest

This corner for relaxation can be safely called secluded. It is not close to the house, but at some distance, closer to the forest. Comfortable wicker chairs for relaxing, benches and a table were placed on a paved wooden platform — all these elements can be combined and arranged as it is convenient. Since the terrace is located at a distance from the main building, it needs additional lighting. Here, this issue was solved with the help of an atmospheric garland with light bulbs, which was launched around the railing.

3 Terrace with several zones

This terrace is quite compact, but it was possible to place three functional zones on it at once. In front of the entrance to the small house there is a round table and wrought iron chairs — a great place to have breakfast or drink coffee in the fresh air. Nearby is a grill — the main «representative» of the barbecue area. A stove and a small dining group were placed opposite it. A roomy sofa was placed in the farthest corner of the terrace. It is located in partial shade and does not overheat in the midday heat, so you can relax on it even in the hottest and sunniest weather. The location of this place for recreation is also noteworthy: the terrace rises above the ground on wooden piles. This immediately makes it more atmospheric, and the view — more picturesque.

four Terrace with bright black and white decor

On this cozy terrace, fenced with a wooden fence, there are as many as two recreation areas. One consists of semicircular wicker cocoon chairs, the other consists of a sofa with a coffee table. The unifying element for these areas is the decor. Both there and there the same sun umbrellas are installed in a contrasting black and white stripe, and the same rug is laid in the area with the sofa. Thanks to these elements, the design of the terrace looks complete and harmonious.

5 Tiered terrace overlooking the river

This terrace also has several functional areas that are located on different levels. This visually separates them from each other. Farthest from the house is a seating area, consisting of a corner sofa and armchair. It is located on the lower level, closest to the river, and offers a wonderful view from here. The next — central — zone is intended for lunches and dinners in the fresh air. There is a large table for 6-8 people. The space in front of the house was left almost empty, with only a couple of pots with plants. This technique makes the view from panoramic windows more picturesque.

6 Picturesque terrace with a fireplace

This small terrace is completely given over to the recreation area. There are two pairs of armchairs, a wooden table and a bench-chest with a storage compartment. In the corner is the main accent of this zone, a bright red open fireplace, reminiscent of a modernized stove in design. A little further there is a firewood shed — it also adds atmosphere to the space. Garlands with large light bulbs are hung around the perimeter of the terrace.
