one Kitchen 5.5 sq. m

In her apartment, designer Elena Ivanova made a small redevelopment, as a result of which the entrance to the small kitchen turned out from the living room. This is a common design technique that designers use. It allows you to arrange furniture with great comfort. So, for example, here is a corner kitchen set. And the column with the built-in refrigerator is located just where the passage to the kitchen used to be. If the door had remained on that side, it would have been impossible to fit the column.

2 Kitchen 6.2 sq. m

This Stalinist apartment, which was remodeled by Natalya Shirokorad, initially had a small and elongated kitchen. After the redevelopment, it became more convenient and functional, largely due to an additional room organized on the square of the next room — a kind of pantry, where the refrigerator was taken out.

Another interesting feature is the window between the kitchen and… the bedroom that adjoins it. After the redevelopment, the bedroom was left without natural light, and this window compensates for its absence.

3 Kitchen 4 sq. m

The project of Tatyana Petrova is an “apartment” in a conditionally basement of a private house. This is a guest house, and on the lower floor the owner wanted to arrange a comfortable space for himself. There was a special wish — to make a billiard zone. A small room was zoned so as to fit everything you need, and a little space was taken under the kitchen — only 4 squares. In addition, she turned out to be elongated. Nevertheless, everything is thought out so that you can cook and store everything you need. Here — and a full-size refrigerator built into the column, and a dishwasher, and a microwave oven with an oven function.

The window under the ceiling, by the way, also illuminates the bedroom, which, as in the previous project, was left without natural light due to the layout.

four Another kitchen 5.5 sq. m

This time — in an apartment in a new building. The kitchen area adjoins the living room, and so it was originally envisaged. Today, such layouts are called euro-twins — when the developer offers a kitchen-living room and a separate bedroom.

Designer Anna Maltseva separated the small kitchen with a decorative semi-partition — in fact, just framing the opening. Floor finishing became an additional zoning — in the kitchen it is a bright tile with a pattern. The interior itself looks light in many respects due to the fact that there are no upper cabinets. Attention is focused on the beautiful tiles on the backsplash, fireplace-type hood and elegant wall sconces. Storage is partially offset by a two-door built-in wardrobe that blends into the wall. A refrigerator is hidden behind one of the doors.

5 Kitchen 4.9 sq. m

In the project of the Carton group bureau — a small-sized three-room apartment in a typical house of the II-29 series — a very small kitchen. After the redevelopment, it was combined with the living room, and this made the space more functional. The dining room was taken out into the living room, and every free meter was occupied in the kitchen. The main set is angular. But it continues with low boxes under the window, which were also used to organize a recreation area. Next to the entrance, a section of the wall was occupied by a pedestal and open shelves. Thus, the space is really used to the maximum!

6 Kitchen 5.9 sq. m

The apartment, designed by designer Alesya Kotova, is located in a 1976 typical house. The kitchen here is small, but Alesya managed to fill it with the functionality necessary for the hostess, including the dining area. The light background successfully rhymes with the blue in the headset and shades of blue in the tiles on the floor and the Roman shade on the window. A refrigerator is built into the corner kitchen set, the oven is placed classically, in the lower base under the hob, but the microwave oven is not quite standard: in a pencil case on the countertop. But that doesn’t make it any less convenient.
