one Delicate bedroom with hints of country and Provence
Architect Maria Amelina transformed this house and made a cozy and comfortable space with hints of country and Provence from the Soviet interior. The second floor is attic, where this bedroom is located. Walls painted in pastel colors, upholstered with clapboard, furniture with soft upholstery, as well as floral prints of textiles add country romance to the interior.

2 Bedroom with fitted wardrobes
In this house, designed by Artem and Ella Zhuravok, the second attic floor is divided into several functional blocks, each of which has a bedroom, a bathroom and a built-in wardrobe (or dressing room). This bedroom has built-in wardrobes (you can see the doors on the right in the photo). There is a bed under the low pitched roof, while light finishes and textiles make the space visually larger.

3 Bedroom in industrial style
Often houses made of timber are decorated in the Scandinavian style, country, Provence, this project is an exception. The author Anna Nikitina, together with the customers, settled on the industrial style. The first floor is decorated in a more brutal aesthetics, but the second, attic, is more calm. So, for example, like this master bedroom under a pitched roof. The walls are decorated in several shades of wood and partly painted, the ceiling is painted, with the niche above the bed highlighted in white to visually elevate the ceiling.
four Bedroom with office
The bedroom on the attic floor of this house is divided into a sleeping and working area — an office. The opening with a beveled edge between the zones is decorated with curtains. A mix of different stylistic devices attracts attention: here is a drawing on the wall, made by the artist based on Japanese painting, and a brick wall, and a lot of wood.

5 Children’s room on the site of the former balcony
In the house designed by Maria Amelina, which we have already mentioned above, thanks to the redevelopment of the second floor, it was possible to allocate an additional living room, which was taken as a nursery. The pale yellow color in which the lining on the walls is painted, the prints of the upholstery of the soft chair and textiles, as well as the collages created by the artist, add a special atmosphere to this room.

6 Nursery in Scandinavian style
The children’s room for a girl in the house designed by Anna Nikitina turned out to be more Scandinavian (recall that the main aesthetics of the house is industrial). The pitched ceiling is painted white, which visually raises it. The woodwork on the walls is Scandinavian in style, as is the house-shaped bed.
7 Bathroom with skylight
A bathroom with a window is a rarity for city apartments, but in country houses many people try to design a wet area with an opening and natural light. For example, in this house, designed by Artem and Ella Zhuravok, one of the bathrooms on the second floor is designed so that the bath itself is installed directly under the roof window. An ideal place for relaxation and water treatments.
eight Well-planned bathroom
Roof slopes in any room, not only in bathrooms, impose certain restrictions on the placement of furnishings. But in the bathroom on the second floor of this house, everything was planned correctly: next to the short walls under the slopes, there are built-in washer and dryers, and opposite them is a shower enclosure where it is easy to stand up to your full height. At the entrance there is a sink with a cabinet and a mirror.
