Initially, this chair was in a very bad condition: dilapidated worn upholstery and peeling varnish on the wood. After the restoration, the chair was upholstered with a new fabric in a neutral and noble gray-beige shade. The legs and armrests have been treated with stain, and now this chair can decorate any living room, adding a vintage mood to the interior.

2 From outdated classics to charming Provence

Before the rework, this table was painted «mahogany», but the shade looked unnatural. From above, the surface was covered with a glossy varnish, which made it look quite pretentious. After the update, the table began to look much more spectacular — despite the fact that its color has changed to powdery pink. The form itself adds brightness to this product — it turns out that it has charming curly legs. The previous too bright color did not emphasize them, but rather hid them. In a new look, the table will ideally complement the interior of a bedroom or children’s room for a girl.

3 From a tasteless chest of drawers to a bright purple accent

The “before” option can be found in almost any furniture mass market. An overly contrasting product did not look bright in a good way, but only visually overloaded the interior. At the same time, the dresser itself is roomy, convenient and facilitates the task of organizing storage. After the alteration, it became not only useful, but also very beautiful. Unusual for furniture, purple color with a texture reminiscent of arabesques immediately catches the eye. In the interior, such a chest of drawers will undoubtedly become one of the key accents.

four From a shabby chair to a neat and stylish one

Before restoration, it was an ordinary Soviet chair in not the best condition. Almost everything was replaced during the update. The old upholstery was removed and the seat and back were upholstered in new fabric. We chose two different materials, but thanks to these decorative elements, the chair looks even more stylish. The wooden parts have been stripped of the old lacquer. Instead, they decided to use oil — this way the tree looks more noble and has a pleasant satin finish.

5 From an «old» closet to a stylish vintage

The wood before the alteration was coated with a dye that emphasized its natural texture, but there were chips in many places, and the furniture needed to be updated. After repainting, it turned out not just an old cabinet with carved doors, but a real antique interior element. The olive green paint is a bit uneven, but that was the restorer’s original idea.

6 From an old-fashioned table to a beautiful addition to the sofa

Glass top and lacquered red wood — the «before» table looked completely out of date. In addition, few interiors are suitable for such dark and red furniture. After the change, the situation changed dramatically. First, the glass tabletop was replaced with a wooden one. Secondly, they completely changed the color of the base and legs — now they are white. The result is a stylish coffee table that fits perfectly into any bright living room.
