6 studio apartments in which a sleeping place was well zoned

one Studio where the bed is hidden in a glass «cube»
In this small studio, they decided to close the bed as much as possible from prying eyes. To do this, they allocated a corner opposite the window and installed a frosted glass partition with sliding doors there. It retains intimacy but lets in light. Inside the sleeping area, they made their own lighting — two small lamps were installed above the headboard so that you could close and read a book before going to bed.

2 The interior, in which the sleeping area was moved to the mezzanine floor
These tiny apartments have very high ceilings. Therefore, a mezzanine floor was completed for the sleeping place and a staircase was brought to it. It is reliable and solid: with comfortable wide steps, comfortable railings, it is convenient to go down and up several times a day. To further limit the sleeping area visually and provide psychological comfort, a rack with books and decor was placed on the “border” of the upper space. And since the light from the chandelier in the main room would not be enough, additional light sources were hung on the mezzanine above the bed.
3 An apartment in which part of the room was separated by a sliding partition
In this studio, the bedroom was practically taken out into a separate room. They just didn’t separate it with a blank wall, but installed a sliding partition, which unobtrusively divided the space into two parts. As a result, the bedroom turned out to be quite spacious: there was even space for a chest of drawers and a dressing table in it. The partition was chosen with transparent glass inserts so that the kitchen and living room would not be in the dark — there is only one window in the studio.

four The studio where each zone is signed
Zoning in the studio can also be approached with a sense of humor. In the apartment in the photo, each zone was simply signed using neon signs with English words — so as not to be mistaken. Above the bed hangs a sign with the inscription «bedroom» («bedroom»), it looks original and interesting. However, this is not the only method of separating the sleeping area from the kitchen-living room. A plasterboard partition was also erected here between the bed and the sofa. A TV hangs on one side, a large mirror on the other, and a blue pedestal on both sides. A dressing room also helps to separate the bedroom from the entrance and kitchen areas. It was assembled from translucent yellow plastic panels. It does not overload the space, but narrows the entrance to the room, adding a sense of privacy.
5 The interior in which the bar counter is the main zoning technique
In this small studio, the bed is very close to the kitchen set, and it is fenced off with a breakfast bar. Thanks to her, the kitchen area is not visible from the low bed, but only the window and the desktop. It seems that you are in a separate room. The bed is right next to the window, so long blackout curtains are a must. Here they were chosen in a warm beige color, to match the bedspread on the bed.

6 Studio in which the bed is hidden in a niche behind a curtain
This studio is another example of creating a full open space bedroom with a room divider. But the approach is somewhat different. The partition wall is made as a semantic continuation of the corridor and forms a niche. A bed, lamps and several bookshelves were placed here. An additional way to isolate yourself is a thick curtain. The cornice hangs directly under the ceiling, so when curtained, the effect of privacy in the niche bedroom will be maximum.
